August 2013: Lots of changes to see this month too!

This month has been exciting too.  Interior framing, more insulation, sheetrock, and stucco.

The wild-looking yellow contraption in a couple of the photos is a panel hoist, which helped Dave and Ed install the ceiling sheetrock with a lot less pain!

Tom the Stucco Guy® came back to put some stucco on and gave it a nice old-timey look that Dave really appreciates (as do I, once Dave pointed it out!).  The black shiny shower pictures show the results of the August 22 "hot mop."  The sheetrock tapers were here on the same day.

It is all looking so awesome!!!  Dave is The Bomb, and Ed has helped immensely; thanks, Ed!

July 2013: Lots of changes that we can all see!

Here are the photos from July.  It's easier for us "non-workers" to see the changes -- the interior entry to the back part of the house, windows, walls, more insulation, electrical, getting ready for the shower and "the throne," the French doors, stucco lath (Dave told me what it's called -- me no know), and framing details (including the arched shape of the entryway to the back of the house).  WOW!

New windows!

That umbrella that still looked intact in June?  It sure didn't like July....

Getting rid of the old door that used to lead to a back unit.

Old door is gone, and so are the steps!

Now we can get to the back of the house without having to go outdoors!
